Ian Unger

Ian Unger is the founder of Gender Outfitters, an online gender-affirming clothing service. This service strives to make gender-affirming clothing available to everyone in an affordable and confidential manner, and provides bras and binders to those who can’t afford them or safely access them. Ian is a transgender man who started his activism career at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh serving as the president of Rainbow Alliance for HOPE and interning at the LGBTQ Resource Center. He continues to participate in campus activism through the TransAction committee, bringing transgender and non-binary students and allies together for the common goal of equality. Ian is working to create change and equality for all genders through his daily work and own personal practices.
