Oreos and a Glass of Wine: A Pagan’s Guide to Aftercare

Are you exhausted from your energy work? Are you finding that you are burning out faster than you want to following a ritual? Do you cringe at the thought of another coven meeting? The more pertinent question: are you taking care of yourself? The work does not end after the spell has been cast and the circle is open. Arcadia and Tiye offer up rationale and practical ways to ensure that you slow the burnout and maximize your potential.

Arcadia is a long time lurker, first time teacher here at ConVocation of Michigan. He has been practicing in both solitaire and coven work for over ten years and works extensively with Greek and Egyptian pantheons. As a practitioner, Arcadia focuses on invocation, divination, and healing.

Tiye has been a member of the pagan community for a little while and has a strong tie to the Egyptian pantheon. She approaches her magical life with instinctual guidance and does not cling tightly to one specific path. She has taught classes and led rituals at ConVocation with emphasis on moving the magic within and around you.
