This class is an overview of the cosmology and practices of one of the fastest growing religions in America. It will cover the main beliefs of the religion including worship of the Ancestors, the Orisha, divination systems, and initiations as ways to bring balance, prosperity and spiritual evolution and progression.

Joy Wedmedyk is an initiated Yemaya priestess in Lucumi Orisha worship, a Kontoumble Shaman (Burkina Faso, Africa), and a Ganji initiate of the Wolf Clan of the Seneca Nation.
