A Talking Stick is used to help us to become Sacred Listeners in a Sacred Space. Through the use of a Talking Stick we open and can be opened to deep thought and feelings, an expression of communication that is unlike our day-to-day lives. The things said and heard can be painful, joyous, sad and profound. The circle is Sacred Space, and nothing said in the circle leaves the circle. We will learn all this by DOING, after some instructions and a smudge, we will experience the power of a Talking Stick.
